A DAY AT VENICE BEACH & SANTA MONICA PIER

During our visit to Los Angeles we met up with the lovely Jenn and Jack from Who Needs Maps. They were kind enough to take us out to some of their favourite places in LA, Venice Beach and Santa Monica. California has some of the nicest beaches we have seen during our travels through North America.

We strolled down cute streets full of coffee shops and boutiques. Walked down Venice beach boardwalk marvelling at the local markets, street performers and artwork as cyclists and rollerbladers zipped passed us.

Santa Monica Pier was vibrant, colourful and very, very busy! We listened to buskers as we watched the sunset and people fishing along the pier.

We ended the day with a cheeky ice cream sandwich at Diddy Riese - the BEST ice cream sandwiches we have ever tried! Thank you so much Jenn for giving us the hook up, we will be returning.
