1. Explore the Largest Natural Wonder of the World
The World Heritage-listed Great Barrier Reef stretches over 2000km (1400 miles) from Lady Elliot Island in the south, all the way to the very northern tip of Queensland. There are so many possibilities in the way you can choose to experience it. From scuba diving, snorkelling, kayaking, sailing to viewing it by air by seaplane or helicopter. Not only does it cater for visitors to climb the bridge, you also have the choice to have an abseil experience! 3. Dive with Whales
For only six weeks of each year Queensland gives you the opportunity to dive with beautiful whales. During June and July, minke whales come to our winter waters of the Great Barrier Reef. You can head off on a once in a lifetime experiences and dive or snorkel with these large, yet gentle sea creatures.

4. Hit Up Some Rides
If it's roller coasters you're after, Queensland has you covered. Head over to the famous Gold Coast where major theme parks are on offer. Head to Dreamworld for an adrenaline packed day, White Water World for all you waterslide junkies, Warner Bros. 5. Spend the Night at Fraser Island
Just a few hours north of Brisbane you will find Fraser Island. A World Heritage listed 120km long sand island well known for its incredible sand dunes. Fraser Island is very popular for camping and 4WD spots where hundreds come to sand board, swim in the warm beaches and pristine lakes, hike through ancient forests and enjoy a spot of fishing. Being the largest sand island in the world, Fraser Island is a must visit for all coming to Queensland.

9. Get Lost in the Daintree Rainforest
Did you know Queensland was home to the oldest rainforest in the world? The ancient Daintree Rainforest offers spectacular beauty and extraordinary biodiversity.
