OUR GREEK WEDDING VILLA | BOUNDLESS BLUE MYKONOS
We're married!!
On the 5th of July in front of a white chapel on the stunning island of Mykonos we said our vows and became husband and wife. Now we know (from all your lovely messages) that you want to see some photos and videos from our special day, but those will be revealed very soon - we promise.
Before any wedding goss is shared with you we want to show you the incredible 5 bedroom Greek villa we stayed at during our wedding week. As we were having a destination wedding we wanted to be able to cover the accommodation for our immediate family as a thank you for flying across the world for us.
When planning our week, we envisioned being able to all stay together, wake up as a family and have breakfast to start the day whilst ending the night all sitting out on a porch overlooking the ocean reminiscing on the days events - and that is exactly what we did thanks to an incredible villa on Airbnb. Yes you read that correctly, this amazing place is an easy search on Airbnb!
We stayed at Boundless Blue Villa, with both our parents, bridesmaid and best man for five days. This 5 bedroom Airbnb is part of a boutique villa complex, located in one of the most stunning and quiet areas on the island. It has unlimited views of the Aegean Sea and the Cycladic Islands of Delos, Paros and Naxos - what more could you ask for?
This two story villa begins on ground floor with two living rooms and one dining room serving ten people. There is also a fully equipped kitchen and a guests bathroom. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook up big family breakfasts and fresh platters on the wedding day (thanks to Jess's Dad - the best chef around!)
The master bedrooms are located on the upper floor, featuring a private terrace and balcony with magnificent views and en-suite bathrooms. We woke up every morning to the room lighting up and stunning sea views from our windows.
But what sold us on this villa is the outdoor area - it is huge! With a gorgeous dining area, two lounge areas, a hammock and the best views in the area, this is where we spent most of our time if we weren't exploring the rest of Mykonos (or busy getting married).
This place was exactly what we wanted, and thats before you throw in the Greek chic attire to make you feel like you are living as the locals do.
