BEST DIVING TRIPS TO HAVE IN AUSTRALIA

Australia is known for having some of the best beaches in the world as well as having an underworld worth jumping on a 12 hour flight to experience. Australia may be out of the way for many to explore, however your holiday will be a trip of a life time if you add scuba diving to your agenda.

These are some of the best diving trips to have down under.

Learn to Scuba Dive

If you have ever thought about scuba diving or getting qualified, why not do it in one of the most exciting countries in the world for marine life. Many don't think about scuba diving in Melbourne, but the coast in Victoria is plentiful with life and don't worry you will get your Nemo fix here too.

Getting your Padi Scuba Certification will take about 2-3 days, but it will all be worth it once you go into the deep waters, open your eyes and take in the beautiful coral and Australian marine life surrounding you.

Just Want a Taste

Not everyone wants to take the time or spend the money to get qualified, so if you do want a taste we cannot recommend diving at the Great Barrier Reef enough. We saw white tip sharks, sea turtles, giant clams and enough fish to fully experience what it's like to scuba and trust us when we say once you do it, you won't go back to snorkelling.

Volunteer and Scuba Dive

Want to have a fulfilling holiday by volunteering abroad? You can explore the deep waters of tropical Cairns whilst also looking after the worlds largest barrier reef. Most volunteer projects assume you do not have your scuba qualification so why not learn and at the same time save the environment for future divers to explore.

Stay tuned, this is high on our Australian bucket list and we wouldn't be surprised if we volunteered at the Great Barrier Reef sometime in 2016.

Swim With Giants

Many visitors flock to northern Western Australia to swim with one of the largest fish in the world, the whalesShark. Though not required to scuba dive, if you do decide to switch out snorkels for gear you will experience these wonders in a whole new light.

This is at the top of our diving bucket list for Australia, we have been needing to get to Ningaloo Reef for as along as we can remember.

Don't Listen To Us - Just Snorkel

We understand that we keep banging the drum that scuba diving is the best way to explore the depths of the oceans, but for whatever reason this isn't your thing then just snorkel. You can still see enough marine and coral life to enjoy the trip of a lifetime because some of Australia's best features are not on the land, it's under it.
