THE 15 MOST MEMORABLE ADVENTURES WE HAD IN 2015
We can not believe the year is already coming to an end. We had such an adventurous filled year it was hard to narrow it down to a list of only 15. From bungee jumping in Canada to shark cage diving in Cape Town here are the most memorable adventures we had in 2015.
1. Volunteering in Costa Rica

We never would of thought our first time visiting Central America would be spent volunteering in the jungle of Costa Rica. For 2 weeks we spent our days babysitting orphaned sloths, feeding tiny monkeys, making 'ice cream' for kinkajous and releasing 650 baby sea turtles into the wild. Being able to experience a new country through volunteering was an unforgettable experience and we are hoping to volunteer abroad much more in 2016. 2. Submarine in Waikiki
Atlantis Submarine
We thought being in Hawaii was exciting enough, but exploring the depths of Waikiki through the porthole of a submarine was the icing on top. Reaching 107ft below the ocean we saw turtles and gigantic fish as we passed ship wrecks covered in corals. Read more: The Underworld of Hawaii in a Submarine.
3. Bungee Jumping in Whistler

Bungee jumping is one of the most extreme sports ever invented, an adrenaline rush like no other, and of course we had to try it. During our weekend away in Whistler we took the plunge and fell 50m towards the rapids below with our bungee cord springing us back up metres before hitting the surface. 4. Kayaking & Camping through Canada
@sparrystake
We had 5 days, a kayak, a tent and 2 guides ready to experience the incredible waters of Desolation Sound. This was our first time camping ever and what a better place to have your first experience than in beautiful Canada. We spent our days kayaking from island to island, setting up our tent, and eating smores under the stars. Read more: Sea Kayak Adventure Through Desolation Sound.
5. Ice Pick Climbing in Alaska

During our 13 day trek through Alaska one of the highlights would have to be ice pick climbing Root Glacier. Stepping backwards into the large opening and being lowered down into the Moulin with ice cold water pouring past you and a storm brewing above was one of the most scariest, yet adrenaline filled experiences imaginable and big bucket list tick for 2015. 6. Shark Cage Diving in South Africa
One of the most terrifying, adrenaline filled, insane things we did in 2015 would have to be jumping into shark infested waters in Cape Town. We only just experienced this crazy dive hours after writing this post and currently busy putting the vlog together for you all to see so keep your eyes out for that video - and yes all fingers and toes are still intact.
7. Road tripping through The Canadian Rockies

To end our 3 month stint in Canada we went on an amazing road trip through the Canadian Rockies. This was the first time we had ever experienced a landscape like this, with snow capped peaks towering over us and the most vibrant turquoise lakes we had ever seen. It was an unforgettable trip and gave us a deeper love for road trips. Read more: 4 Days Exploring the Canadian Rockies.

Ahh Paris. The most romantic city in the world. How could we not go up the Eiffel Tower. Ever since we were younger we dreamed of heading to the top, looking out over Paris below - and this year we finally made that dream a reality. Watch: The Best View Of Paris.
9. Surfing in Tofino
Surfing In Canada
During a cheeky weekend away to Tofino, a small beach town on the westcoast of Canada, we knew we had to try surfing here. Before going there we never knew surfing was even a thing in Canada, so we were surprised to find out Tofino is a world-class surfing destination. We put on super thick wetsuits and made a splash into the icy waters for a morning surf lesson. Read more: A Weekend in Tofino.

To end our year we have headed to Africa and only recently finished up a week volunteering at a project just outside of Pretoria in Southern Africa. We spent the week living, playing and looking after African animals, our favourite of course were the lions. One morning we had the opportunity to take 3 teenage lions out for a walk, run and play. Seriously the coolest experience, check out our video walking along side these big cats!

12. Seeing the Northern Lights in Alaska
Alaska 3
A bucket list moment we did not expect to experience during the summertime in Alaska. When we reached the island of Oahu in Hawaii we knew there was one thing we simply had to do – scuba dive. We hadn’t dived in almost over a year and we were itching to jump back in and explore more of our vast oceans. We were lucky enough to be greeted by a gigantic sea turtle and some beautifully coloured tropical fish! We absolutely love diving and have added getting certified as a must do in 2016.
