BONFIRES ON THE BEACH: CALIFORNIA LIVIN'

During our week here in Los Angeles we caught up with our good friends Jenn & Jack from Who Needs Maps for a good ol' Californian beach day.

Our first stop was Manhattan Beach for a coffee along the pier, followed by an acai bowl topped with berries & bananas from Nekter Juice Bar. We have since fallen in love with this gorgeous coastal town. The chilled out vibe and cute, quirky cafes and stores that line the streets remind us a lot of our home town back in Australia.

After heading to the local grocery store for supplies we headed to Dockweiler Beach for an afternoon chilling at the beach and a bonfire dinner. We had both never experienced a bonfire dinner, and having our first time on a beach in LA was perfect.
