HOLLYWOOD BY HORSEBACK
Since going horseback riding in St Maarten and Hawaii we have become quite addicted. When we saw a stable during our hike up to the Hollywood Sign we were intrigued, but kept going on up the hill. Once we turned the corner we saw people on horses riding right near the Hollywood Sign - we knew we had to try this out.

Sunset Ranch has the cutest setting, nestled in the Hollywood Hills. They offer day and evening tours, dinner and lunch rides, and even provide a special proposal package. We opted for the 1 hour day tour ($40pp), where we hopped on a horse and were guided through the hills of Griffith Park with amazing views of Los Angeles and the Hollywood sign.

Going horseback riding through the Hollywood Hills was such a unique way to experience the Hollywood Sign and see the views of Los Angeles. We do suggest that if you are going just for the Hollywood Sign that you do return and hike to the very top. The views from behind the sign are amazing!
