10 THINGS YOU MUST DO IN OAHU, HAWAII
After visiting the beautiful island of Oahu for 2 weeks we have been asked what activities we recommend for people who are heading to the island. We thought it was easiest to put a little post together show casing our favourite things to do Oahu, Hawaii for anyone who is dreaming about heading here for their next holiday.
1. Learn to Surf
We can't think of a better place to learn to surf than Hawaii. Find an instructor, grab a board and ride those waves! You can do it!!

2. Go Parasailing to Witness the Amazing Views
If you like an adrenaline rush and views, you must go parasailing along the beaches in Honolulu. Being lifted so high in the air we were able to see the entire city of Honolulu, with a spectacular backdrop of lush mountains behind it. This is definitely the best way to capture the beauty of the island of Oahu.

3. Experience a Big Kahuna Luau
How can you go to Hawaii and not attend a traditional Big Kahuna Luau? Enjoy a night of Hawaiian food, entertainment, drinks, music, and of course hula dancing. It was one of the funnest nights we had during our time in Oahu!

4. Remember Pearl Harbour
We highly recommend you visit the USS Arizona Memorial and USS Missouri Battleship during your visit to Oahu. It was such an emotional and eye opening experience! Visit the moment where America entered WWII and stand at the very spot WWII ended.

5. Cycle Through the Back Streets
One of our favourite things we love doing during our travels is exploring off the beaten path, away from the tourist traps. A great way to do this is by jumping on a bike and pedalling through areas that you can’t access via car. Being able to get up close and personal with landmarks so iconic to Honolulu’s history is the most unique way of seeing what the island has to offer.

9. Go ATV Riding Through Kuala Ranch
The ranch’s Ka’a’awa Valley, nestled between the Ko’olau mountain range and the Kaneohe coast, is in our opinion the most beautiful place in all of Oahu. Here they have filmed Jurassic Park, 50 First Dates, Pearl Harbour and TV shows like Lost and Hawaii Five-O. We found that the best way to explore this stunning area was by ATV!

10. Go Diving with Gaint Sea Turtles
Are you a fan of snorkelling? Why not go a tad deeper and go scuba diving! During our dive we saw hundreds of fish, coral, eels, star fish and GIANT sea turtles.
