LOOKING FORWARD TO 2015

As a new year begins and we start to put together new years resolutions that we want to accomplish you can't help but reflect on the previous year and try to work out what we would do differently. Wether it be exercise more, spend more time with family or scramble together some more change to go travelling.

2015 is either going to be a big year for us or a 'well at least we tried something different' year, which is both intriguing and daunting. If you have been following our journey over the last few months or just tuning in, 2015 is the year that we will begin our year of full time travel.

1. Full Time Travel

In February we will be boarding a plane with a backpack, a one way ticket and our camera's as we head towards North America. Our plan so far is to spend 6 weeks in the US before making base in Vancouver for about 3-4 months. Our goal is to keep travelling around North America for at least a year and we will see from there.

2. New Experiences

This is a big year as we there will be a lot of new experiences including leaving home for the first time, moving to another country and no longer having a 9 to 5 job to rely on for money.

3. Life Responsibilities

Yeah, that thing called responsibility. Our big move next year is all self funded and on our own backs. That means if we want to do a big expensive experience we may have to rethink it if it means not eating for the next month.

4. Our Relationship

Sorry to end this post with mushy relationship stuff but there will be a lot of ups and downs that we will have to tackle together which may or may not put a toll on our relationship. Yes, we have been living together for the past few years but not in a position where we will be together all day, every day.

11 REASONS YOU SHOULD TRAVEL WHILE YOU'RE YOUNG PHOTOS

Bonus. Changes To The Blog

We have so many exciting plans for Flying the Nest in development but one (of many) of them is in the video realm so make sure you keep an eye out on our YouTube Channel. Are there any new changes you would like to see on our site?

Overall, we are very excited for 2015 and we hope you come along with us for the journey. Over the next few days we will be releasing a few more personal posts so that we can connect with you better so you can learn a bit more about us and our journey.

What are you excited for in 2015?
