TOP 10 TRAVEL MOVIES
If you know us personally you would agree we are both big movie buffs! We have seen too many movies to count and if we wanted to we could create a series reviewing all the different cinemas we have been to from around the world. What we love even more is when a movie ties into its story another love of ours, travel.
Here is our list of top 10 must see travel movies.
10. The Beach
The movie follows Alex Garland's novel about young backpackers who set out to find paradise but end up destroying it. This movie will have you drooling over Thailand and have you packing your bags and backpacking around Asia. We have been lucky enough to visit Phi Phi Island in Thailand, the beach that The Beach was filmed.

2. Up
We love animated movies, especially those done by Disney and Pixar. Up is about an old man, Carl, who spent his life dreaming of world travel and adventure with his wife, only for the both of them to grow old without ever taking any action (sounds like a story close to home?) Carl finally decides to do something about it, and ends up having the adventure of a lifetime!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qas5lWp7_R0
1. The Secret Life of Walter Mitty
Not only is this movie our top travel movie pick, it would have to be in our list of the best movies we have seen! The Secret Life of Walter Mitty is beautifully crafted and gives us a giant case of wanderlust! If you haven't seen this movie you now know what to do.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kGWO2w0H2V8
