ROTTNEST ISLAND: A DAY IN THE AIR

If you are from Perth, Australia then you definitely have heard of Rottnest Island (or Rotto for short). If you haven't, its a tiny island 18 kilometres (11 miles) off the coast of Western Australia. Its mainly known for the native quokka that live there, and is a popular destination for year 12's during 'leavers week'.

Most travel here by ferry, however I was lucky enough to have a friend completing his pilot license who took him to view Rottnest Island by air.

Check out the video of my experience.
