VISITING MAHO BEACH IN ST MAARTEN

If you are looking for things to do in St Maarten you can't go past one of the coolest beaches we have ever been to - and we were brought up in Australia! Maho Beach sits directly adjacent to Princess Juliana International Airport - one of the smallest airports in the world. We literally experienced the jet forces of a Bowing 747 take off just metres away, as we got flown back into the sea behind us.

Looking out at sea as you watch a plane fly right above your head and land a few metres above the beach is a  sight we will both never forget! We stood and watched as unsuspecting travellers were blown across the beach along with their bags and umbrellas was priceless.
