EXPLORING AUSTRALIA'S SOUTH WEST | 10 DAY ROAD TRIP ITINERARY
During my last trimester we decided to go on one final adventure before getting ready for our little ones arrival. We decided to hire out a campervan and hit the road on a 10 day road trip through Australia's Southwest. This is one of our favourite spots to explore here in Australia and we are lucky enough to call this part of the world our home.
After scrolling through the net looking for a last minute campervan deal we stumbled across Travellers Autobahn who had a van available for the dates we were after. Two days after booking the van our road trip began!

OUR 10 DAY SOUTH WEST AUSTRALIA ROAD TRIP ITINERARY
Day 1-2: Perth to Yallingup
Our first stop on our road trip was to Yallingup. We ended up spending two nights at the cute little Tree Chalet. We enjoyed our time relaxing in the outdoor bathtub, waking up to watch the sunrise at the Busselton Jetty and soaking in the famous Nature's Spa in Injidup.
Day 3: Hamelin Bay & Denmark
We said goodbye to Yallingup and followed the coast making our way to Hamelin Bay. This spot is famous for its resident stingrays - they will swim right up to the shore to say hello! After having stingrays tickle our toes we continued on towards one of our favourite spots down south, Denmark. We highly recommend checking out Greens Pool and Elephant Rocks while here (unfortunately for us they were doing road renovations to both sights so we could not access them during our visit).

Day 4 - 5: Albany
Back when Stephen was around 11 he spent two years actually living in Albany so whenever we head on a road trip to the south we always spend a night or two here. Our favourite spot to park your campervan in Albany is Emu Beach Holiday Park. It is located right on the beach and is in walking distance to our favourite cafe in Albany, Emu Point Cafe.
We recommend waking up early and driving down to Little Beach for sunrise. We were the only people around and enjoyed cooking pancakes in our van and jumping in the ocean for a morning dip. It's one of the most picturesque beaches in Albany.
Day 6 - 8: Esperance
Esperance has been on our bucket list for the LONGEST time! We had both visited when we were younger but only had scattered memories of the turquoise beaches and it was even better than what we remembered! Esperance has some of the best beaches we have ever seen - the sand is so fine it squeaks as you walk along.
Some of our favourite spots in the area are Lucky Bay (this is where you can see kangaroos on the beach), Twilight Beach, Blue Haven Beach, Wylie Bay and Cape Le Grand National Park.

Day 9: Wave Rock
Our final stop on our Southwest road trip was Wave Rock. Its the perfect place to spend the night on your way back to Perth to break up the drive and waking up for sunrise to have the this unique rock all to yourself is a pretty magical experience.
