FRITZLAR, GERMANY | HIGHLIGHT ON OUR GERMAN FAIRY TALE ROAD TRIP
Fritzlar - The most beautiful medieval German town
If you have been following along over on YouTube you may have seen that we are currently on a road trip through Germany on the famous Fairy Tale Route. We started in Berlin and have been making our way south, stopping off at a number of towns and locations that had an influence on the famous Brothers Grim book, Grimm's Fairy Tales.
This journey found us visiting the most beautiful medieval German town - Fritzlar. Scattered with half-timbered houses and having a Marketplatz that looks like it is straight out of a Disney World theme park, it is hard to believe that this is a genuine town and not built purely as a tourist attraction.
This is one of those places were video and photos speak louder than words. So here is a video we made sharing our time in this magical town, and we have also added a couple of snaps that truly showcase the magic of Fritzlar.
