A QUICK GUIDE TO BROOME, WESTERN AUSTRALIA
Our last stop on our Western Australia road trip was the beautiful town of Broome. This historical pearling town situated in the stunning Kimberley region of WA is a hot spot for travellers. After only having one full day to see and do as much as possible in this beachside town, here is our top picks of how you should spend your time in Broome.

Where to stay
Whenever we are deciding on where to stay during our travels we love to find fully equiped apartments over hotel rooms. Being able to lounge around on the sofa, have our own kitchen to cook in and generally have a little more space than your typical hotel bed and bathroom is always a win for us.
During our time in Broome we spent a couple of nights at Seashells Broome and had the most relaxing stay! Located only 300m from Cable Beach, you can stay in your very own self-contained apartment, with BBQ areas and a massive swimming pool to relax in.
Best brunch spot
We started our morning meeting up with our Adventure Tours group for a big brunch together to say our final goodbyes. After 9 days of camping and hostels we wanted to find the ultimate brunch spot - we're talking avo on toast, fruit smoothies and poached eggs - and I think we found the perfect spot. Dragonfly Cafeis a super cute cafe right in the heart of town, serving delicious breakfast and the perfect cup of coffee.
Matso's Broome Brewery
A visit to Broome would not be complete without heading to Matso's. This handcrafted brewery serves up award winning beers, including their famous mango & ginger beer. On a hot day we highly recommend coming here for lunch, and to also grab one of their tasting paddles which allows you to try 5 different beers.
If are visiting on a Wednesday or Friday, you can go on a brewery tour. They go for one hour, costs $35 and includes a tasting paddle at the end.
Camel ride at Cable Beach
Cable Beach hands down has one of the most epic sunsets in all of Western Australia... and the perfect way to enjoy this sunset is on a camel tour! Camels at sunset on Cable Beach can be found in any souvenir store selling postcards - it has become a symbol of WA.
We went with Sundowner Camel Toursand had the most incredible afternoon. This is hands down the number one thing we recommend you do during a visit to Broome!
