CITIZENM: A PLACE THAT MAKES LUXURY IN LONDON AFFORDABLE
Ahhh London. We have such a love/hate relationship with this city. Don't get us wrong, it is one of our favourite cities in the world and if we had the opportunity to live here we would take it without a second thought - but London is so.blooming.expensive! Everytime we visit our money seems to disappear, without even stepping into a store.
This is why when we find a hotel, in a great location and at an affordable price we get a tad excited. During our two nights in London we spent our time at two citizenM hotels. One in Shoreditch (you can read all about our stay by visiting this link) and the second night at citizenM Tower of London.
The room, hotel and experience at the Tower of London hotel were very similar to our stay at their Shoreditch location, however this time we had an upgrade on the views situation with incredible sights from the top floor giving us uninterrupted views of the Tower of London.
We found this sister location more appealing to those who want to be closer to the River Thames, in throwing distance of the tube and of course having mornings available to have a coffee in hand whilst you walk across the London Bridge and back.

What we LOVE about the citizenM Hotels
The unique check-in. This hotel has literally ruined all other hotels for us, we LOVE the way you check-in - it's an introverts dream. Instead of a staff member eyeing off your credit card, you are instead greeted by a screen where you simply type your name, choose the room you would like to stay in, scan a blank card which becomes your hotel key card and then you're ready to head to your room. So quick. So efficient!
Super techy. We are suckers for cool technology. Each room has an iPad that can control pretty much everything in the room, from the lights to the TV and the blinds. We love hotels that are using technology to make your stay more convenient and efficient - and citizenM does this very well.
Big comfy beds. Obviously most important thing in any hotel. The beds at citizenM are huge and they don't skimp on the pillows!
Huge windows. As the rooms are a little on the small side, the huge floor to wall window really helps to brighten up the room and make it feel larger than it is.
Free movies. Stephen's favourite thing about this hotel was that they have SO many movies available and they are all FREE!
