Here are a few snaps from our recent trip to Cairns. If these don't make you want to drop all your 2017 plans, find that cheap Jetstar deal and head on over, then we don't know what will.

Our most recent trips abroad were very work orientated and even though we are seeing incredible places as our office, we still needed a bit of a time out. Cairns was the perfect choice as 2 years ago Jess's parents moved from Perth to Queensland and she just hasn't had the opportunity to visit since. With the Christmas break coming up, a reunion with her family made our summer vacation so, so special.

One thing we noticed about Tropical North Queensland was there is so much stuff to here! We spent early mornings in hot air balloons, lunch breaks in helicopters and the afternoon diving into the Great Barrier Reef.

The tropical environment is begging you to head to the outdoors and I'm pretty sure no day passed by without us all having a dip in the pool.

As we were heading over to Cairns for a short family holiday, our brand new (and very stylish) Paklite small trolley case in champagne gold was perfect to use as carry on luggage and also for those quick weekend getaways to Port Douglas.

Christmas 2016... you were awesome!
