HOW TO EXPLORE THE GRAND CANYON

After it being near the top of our USA bucket list for years, we finally got to experience how grand The Grand Canyon really is.

As our time was limited we only had half a day to spend taking in this incredible natural wonder. We opted to travel along the scenic Desert View Drive, at the South Rim of the canyon, stopping off at the view points as we went.

We have already found ourselves wanting to return as there are just so many ways you can explore The Grand Canyon, each giving a unique experience. Here are some different ways you can explore The Grand Canyon...

This beautifully photographic waterfall is one we are dying to experience. Havasu Falls is known for its natural pools, created by mineralization. The vibrant blue water contrasts against the striking red rocks of the canyon walls and makes it one of the worlds most beautiful falls. Starting at the Havasupai Indian Reservation, it is about a 10 mile hike to reach the falls. You will need to camp overnight before returning the following day.(source)
