5 THINGS TO DO IN YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK
1. Experience the falls
Yosemite National Park is home to a number of incredible waterfalls. The perfect time to see the falls are during spring when the most snowmelt occurs. Our favourite is Yosemite Falls which you can easily hike to from the Yosemite Village. If you are adventurous we suggest climbing over the rocks at the base of the falls taking you close you can almost touch it.
Another favourite is Horsetail Falls which appears to look like it is on fire when it reflects the orange glow of the sunset during the summer months. A few others worth checking out are Sentinel Falls, Ribbon Falls and Bridalveil Falls.

Massive ancient giant sequoias live throughout Yosemite National Park. The easiest assessable area to view them is the Mariposa Grove, with two of its trees being among the 30 largest Giant Sequoias in the world. The oldest tree in the grove, known as the Grizzly Giant, is between 1900-2400 years old! You could easily spend the day hiking through this forest of giants and marvel at these incredible trees.
