A DAY AT THE MARKETS IN SEATTLE
When in Seattle we spent a day wandering through the famous Pike Place Markets. Overlooking the Elliott Bay waterfront, it is one of the oldest continuously operated public farmers' markets in the United States, opening in August 1907. We tried locally grown fruits as we walked past colourful tulips and an abundant of bakeries, fish stands and trinket stalls. We also stumbled upon a little alley completely covered in bubblegum and had a cheeky afternoon coffee at the the first ever Starbucks.
