OUR ATTEMPT AT PACKING FOR A LONG TERM JOURNEY

So, we are leaving for a year long trip in less than 24 hours. All our things are stored into boxes and tucked away in our bedroom, now titled 'the storage area'. Our cameras, iPads, laptops are all charging ready for the long flight ahead. I guess, it is now time to think about packing. Packing for a year. Packing for all types of weather and environments. Packing our life into a suit case.

I already feel overwhelmed.

So, what are we taking you ask? After rummaging through our belongings into needs, wants and store-it piles we came up with a few outfits and some staples we will be packing for our very long term journey.

Where is all the heavy winter gear, you ask? Living by the sunny beaches of Australia there has never been a need to own any winter gear, let alone thick thermals. We decided to pop up to the shops and look for some necessary winter woollies that we will definitely need during our time exploring Canada. But after seeing the Australian prices and having a moment of absolute panic, we had a google and America better be ready for our mini shopping spree when we arrive - why do you have to be so over priced Australia!

I guess we will have to do an updated post after our cheeky shop in America when our suitcases will be officially full.
