The most expensive thing when travelling the world is accommodation. Trying to find affordable accommodation with all the amenities and comfort you need can be challenging. Well, we have found a way to travel the world whilst finding accommodation for free by using a new home exchange style website, Trampolinn.
What is Trampolinn?
Trampolinn is a new way of house exchange or house swapping around the world. Similar to the way Airbnb & Couchsurfing works, people put there properties on the website for travellers to stay in as they travel the globe. Whats different with Trampolinn is that you can stay at places around the world for free by using the site’s points as virtual money to pay for your stay.
How to get started & start gaining points
The first way to start gaining free points is by signing up. By simply completing your profile and verifying you account you will gain 250 points. Once you sign up we recommend inviting some friends through social media or email as you will gain 50 points per successful invite. This may not sound like much, but we have found amazing places to stay at for as little as 80 points per night from all around the world.
If you are interested in putting your own house on the site for travellers to stay in you will gain an extra 500 points, as well as points whenever someone stays in your home. You can always set your home to public or private depending on when your house would be available.
It’s pretty much a flexible home exchange
Unlike most home exchanges/ home swaps that require you to find someone to swap homes with at the same time and in a location you and they want to visit, Trampolinn gives you the flexibility to stay wherever you like whenever you like. Trampolinn means you don’t need to find someone to stay in your house for you to stay in theres. You can simply use your points to stay wherever you like and allow people to stay in your home when you want them to and gain more points for more travel.

What do you think of this new, innovative way of home exchange?
Flying the Nest was asked by Trampolinn to review their website and write about our experience. As always, I only recommend and write about brands that I personally use or believe in. Therefore as always all opinions are our own.
