Verina Greek Villas, Greece
Ah Greece, how your beauty beckons us to visit your incredible islands and luxurious hotels. The spacious suites at the Verina include an infinity pool overlooking the beautiful views of a castle situated on Sifnos island.
Even though your luxurious getaway may keep you fixated on the scenery, you can’t go past heading down to the local village for traditional pastries. Wether you are wanting to propose or looking for the best greek islands for your honeymoon, we wouldn’t fault your decision to choose Greece.
How to explore Europe in the most luxurious way possible? If you are looking to take in the beauty of Europe without the hassle of flying you will want to organize a first class Eurail ticket for your trip. This way you can sit down and watch the countryside move past you through before arriving in the city central.
Sofitel Munich Bayerpost, Germany
Speaking of train rides, the Sofitel in Munich has to be the most convenient hotel in the entire city, just mere metres away from the central station. When we were ushered into our room we couldn’t help but feel this was more-so an apartment than room. Located in a rich historical Royal Bavarian Post Office the excellent French customer service can be seen through every corner of the hotel.
If you travelling through Germany in the colder months you may second guess to visit the pool area. The heated indoor pool is so elegantly designed with a snake like design and low doorways encouraging you to swim underwater to get into its’ secret areas.
Hotel De Nell Paris, France
When heading to France to truly experience high end luxury you need to book yourself into a boutique Parisian hotel. Hotel De Nell is located in the 9th arrondissement, down a quiet street allowing visitors explore the beautiful city but still enjoy some time away from the crowds.
A quick tip, when heading downstairs to enjoy breakfast we cannot recommend the fresh French pancakes enough. On return from our two month trip to Europe we were quizzed on what was the best food we had, these pancakes were our answer.
Marriott St Pancras Renaissance, London
If you are looking for a deluxe retreat right in the heart of London then you will be right at home at the Marriott. From their underground pool, contemporary design and furnishings this romantic hotel is best explored with your significant other.
Bonus: When you think of England it’s hard to not have the Spice Girls movement come to mind. Look out for the grand staircase and them compare it to the “Wannabe” video clip to enjoy some pop culture during your stay.
The Balmoral, Scotland
This charming hotel is also one of Edinburgh’s landmarks as it adds both history and character to the cities skyline. Your large bed is complimented with a marbled bathroom as well as windows containing some of the best views of the city.
Are you a Harry Potter fan? If you are heading to Edinburgh to see the birthplace of Harry Potter, ask the receptionist at the Balmoral to show you the JK Rowling suite. There you will find the very room that the final words of the series was completed including a signed statue marking the occasion.
