5 PLACES TO GRAB A GOOD COFFEE IN GASTOWN, VANCOUVER

I am sure you have heard that the people in Vancouver love there coffee, and not only drinking it – they love making it! During our time living the expat life here in Vancouver we have found that the best coffee comes from a little place called Gastown. Gastown is a little different to anywhere else in the city. It rocks a cool vibe, is full of history, architecture and amazing cafes.

Here are our favourites places in Gastown, Vancouver to grab a good coffee.

1. Revolver

If you want good coffee then you need to visit the Revolver, the trendiest cafe in Gastown. When you first walk in you can tell that their baristas are serious about their coffee. They make every cup with precision and care. The cafe has that hipster, social vibe and we love it.

If you are into a bold, dark roast then Timbertrain is for you. The coffees are seriously amazing, the atmosphere is awesome and we love the cafes design. Coming from the mouth of Stephen, “this is the best latte I have ever had”, yep this place is that good.

3. Smart Mouth Cafe

Situated in the heart of Gastown, this is our favourite cafe to go to when feeling peckish, whilst also in need of a caffeine fix. They have super tasty focaccia’s that go down so nicely with their bold, smooth coffee. It has that cool hipster vibe we love, along with locally roasted, fair trade, organic coffee.
