1. Vintage Airstream, Austin, Texas

This is one of the coolest looking airstream accommodations we’ve seen. With hardwood floors, AC & heater, full size bed with organic cotton mattress and 600 thread count Egyptian Cotton sheets (what!?), fully equipped bathroom with shower, refrigerator, microwave and free Wi-Fi – what more could you need?

2. Poets Studio, Tucson, Arizona

This Poet’s Studio is a peaceful retreat in the heart of Tucson. The studio is crafted in the classic Santa Fe style, built of sun-dried adobe with a corner beehive fireplace. Private views can be seen from both windows, with a mountain view to the north and a view overlooking the pool to the east. You even have a plunge pool to cool off during the summer days.

4. Log Wood Cabin, Newry, Maine

This rustic and simple one-room cabin was built in 1902 and was used as a fishing camp. The owners have since taken it out of the deep woods and relocated it where it now overlooks a 12 acre pond. It is outfitted with electricity, wood stove and there is an ample kitchen and counter space with propane stove and double sink. With running drinking water in the cabin and a hot water heater – this cabin has all you need, but still keeping it’s rustic old charm!

5. School Bus in the Woods, Thornton, New Hampshire

It doesn’t get more unique than spending the night in a converted school bus! The bus features wood floors, insulated walls, full-size propane kitchen stove and a small oven, small fridge, and a large kitchen counter with sink. There is a twin bed and hammock and for the toilet there is a primitive, hole-in-the-ground outhouse tent a few steps away in the woods. You might want to bring a flashlight for any midnight potty excursions!
