THE 5K COLOR RUN: THE HAPPIEST RUN ON THE PLANET

We have mentioned previously in our unique bucket list post that we really want to experience the Holi Colour Festival in India, Nepal. Unfortunately, we have not yet travelled to India to experience this colourful festival, but we think we have found the next best thing – The Color Run.

The Color Run is a unique 5K paint race that celebrates healthiness, happiness and individuality. Last time they came to Perth myself and a few friends signed up to do the annual fun run and while we ran Stephen filmed the entire day.

Check out the video below and hopefully our next colourful video will be in India!

Have you done the Color Run in your hometown? Leave a comment below, Tweet us or leave us a post on Facebook.

  • I’ve been wanting to do this too. Holi and the color run. I really wish I could fit Holi in this year but it doesn’t look like that is going to happen, maybe next year. I love that the color run is done all over the world though, I need to find one close to me… 😀

  • As an Indian, I’ve grown up playing Holi, but it tends to get a bit too rowdy on the streets. When you guys do come, have fun, but keep your wits about you. There’s a cannabis derivative that’s mixed with sweet milk and drunk abundantly, and while it can be fun, it can lead to a whole bunch of things! That being said, I have some wonderful memories of throwing water balloons, using water guns filled with coloured water and oiling our hair and skin before going so that it gets easier to wash off the colour!
