Lost all your money on a crazy night in Vegas? Don’t you worry, there are plenty of things you can do that are completely free.

Here are 10 things to do in Las Vegas that won’t cost you a penny.

1. Circus acts at Circus Circus

How could you pass up a free circus? Located at the Circus Circus hotel-casino, you will see jugglers, unicyclists and acrobats performing high above the casino floor. Performances last for about 10 minutes every half-hour, between 11am to midnight.

2. Bellagio Fountain Display

With a combination of music, water and light, the Bellagio delivers a spectacular audiovisual performance with its stunning fountain display. Located in front of the Bellagio hotel-casino, shows run every half hour from 3pm Monday to Friday and on the weekends shows run every 15 minutes from 8pm to midnight.

3. See mermaids at The Aquarium at Silverton

At the Silverton Casino Hotel’s free aquarium you can see over 4,000 tropical fish plus stingrays and sharks. They also hold interactive stingray feedings and live mermaids! The mermaid swims occur throughout the day on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Click here to check out all the times.

4. Visit Paris for the day

See re-creations of some of Paris’s greatest landmarks right on the Las Vegas Strip. Replicas of the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, the Arc de Triomphe, and the Hôtel de Ville can all be seen at Paris casino.

5. Watch a volcano erupt at The Mirage

The volcano at The Mirage has been a favourite Las Vegas attraction since the resort opened in 1989. Watch as the tranquil waterfall turns into a fiery display every night, Sunday – Thursday at 8pm & 9pm and Friday – Saturday 8pm, 9pm & 10pm. This is our favourite show on the strip!

6. M&M’s World

M&M’s World, located next to the MGM Grand hotel-casino, is four floors of a M&M lovers dream! The rainbow wall on the second floor features 22 different M&M’s colours to choose from. Located on the third floor, you can make your own personalised candies with your own custom message. However, our favourite part is on the fourth floor where you can see an interactive 3D movie for free titled I Left My M in Vegas.

7. Flamingo Wildlife Habitat at The Flamingo

Open from 8am to 8pm daily, The Wildlife Habitat at the Flamingo is home to a variety of birds, including pheasants, ducks, swans and of course, flamingos.

8. The Fremont Street Experience

You need to spend a night exploring Fremont Street located in Downtown Vegas. One of the attractions there is the Fremont Experience where they have a lit canopy overhead with nightly light shows, made up of 12.5 million lights! There are also 3 stages with free performances held each night.

9. Take a snap with the Las Vegas Welcome Sign

Yes, this is probably the most touristy thing on the list – but something everyone just has to do!

10. Hoover Dam

Named one of the Top 10 Construction Achievements of the 20th Century, Hoover Dam is definitely worth a visit. The tour may be $30, but who says you need to take the tour? The Hoover Dam is incredible to see, attracting more than a million visitors a year. The Dam is located in Black Canyon, 35 miles south of Las Vegas on U.S. 93.
